Aliens: Colonial Marines News
There hasn’t been much information about Gearbox Software’s Aliens: Colonial Marines, but we do now know a little bit more news about it. Aliens: Colonial Marines will bring new levels of bone-chilling suspense and adrenaline-filled action as an authentic addition to the renowned ALIENS franchise canon. The game pits players against the universe’s ultimate alien killing machines, the Xenomorphs, with stunning visuals and adrenaline pumping action, delivering breathtakingly immersive single, cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes.
The story of Aliens: Colonial Marines begins with an ostensibly abandoned ship, the U.S.S. Sulaco, recovered in orbit around LV-426. Players lead a group of highly trained United States Colonial Marines as they board the deserted craft to uncover the fate of the crew. They will have to fight to survive unspeakable horrors and their own anxieties as they chase down the truth behind a galaxy-spanning deception that places humanity at the mercy of the most murderous and deadly species in the universe.
Right now, it seems pretty interesting. The President of Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford, is a huge fan of the Aliens franchise, so the story in Aliens: Colonial Marines should be really good. Plus, throw in the fact that Gearbox Software have a good track record of making really good, fun, FPS games, Aliens: Colonial Marines looks like it might be a winner.
Last, but not least, co-op and multiplater will be in Aliens: Colonial Marines. Have some fun with some friends, and have some fun in the multiplayer. The multiplayer will feature Team Deathmatch, Escape, Extermination, and Survivor. Plus, you can play as either Xenomorphs or Marines.
All in all, Aliens: Colonial Marines might be a game to check out. it’s coming out February 12th, 2013, available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U. The February 12th date isn’t set in stone for the Wii U, but it should be coming out around there. So, if your interested in getting the Wii U version it will be available sometime during the Wii U launch.
