Black Forest Games fans get ready for the holiday special that is sure to bring holly jolly joy this Christmas season. An exclusive, brand new Christmas level for Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams has been released to help gamers and fans celebrate the holiday season.
Giana leaps, runs and ice-skates her way through a beautiful snow-covered landscape that transforms into a hellish, barren wasteland with just the click of a button. In order to help players feel the holiday spirit designers have created an entire arsenal of morphing Christmas themed objects that can be found throughout the new level for Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. Every skill and technique will be required from each player so that they can have a chance at defeating the spiteful Santa-Owls.
Those who already own the game will be receiving this new level automatically. The level can be selected in the “Extras” entry in the main menu of the game is also available as a free update on Steam, gog.com and GamersGate. The new holiday level is also available as a free standalone download on Steam and gog.com as a gift to those who have never actually played Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams before. Like the original full length game players have the option to change Giana from cute to punk, each built with their own unique look and abilities. The brand new Steam version features two major improvements to the original game. With full controller support on Steam, Black Forest Game has added the Steam Big Picture function. Players will now be able to launch the game without the need of a mouse and keyboard and works on your TV with 1080p screen resolution.
