call of duty offer
I had a feeling that summer started today when I tried laying down for bed last night and heard a series of fireworks go off.
I’m sure sleeping will be difficult on this end for the next few days, but at least I’ll have to Thank Activision for luring people indoors to their consoles and PC instead of firing loud rockets near my bedroom window.
Today, July 4th, marks the birth of North America to all the American patriots, and Activision is willing to celebrate this by offering a deal to every Call of Duty fan. For a limited time, all previously released DLC collection packs for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops are fifty percent off on all platforms.
Xbox 360 and PC owners will have this deal start yesterday (July 3rd) and run for a week. Playstation 3 owners will see the deal start for the Call of Duty games today and run for a week as well. European Call of Duty gamers can also participate today.
In case anyone out there would like to celebrate the veterans of North America instead of staying indoors and shooting avatars online, Activision has you covered. Activision states they will donate a portion of the sales for the Call of Duty DLC to “Call of Duty Endowment,” a non-profit organization that provides jobs and training to veterans. So rest assured that the purchase of shooting zombies or playing indoors with these games will support soldiers to our country. The DLC included in this package are:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #1
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #2
Call of Duty: Back Ops First Strike
Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation
Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation
Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection
If you have been wanting to extend the life of your game, while celebrating the birth of North America, then this deal would be good for you. It might even be cheaper than purchasing expensive fireworks that make loud noises and keep some people up at night. But this deal will only last for a week, so make the choice fast!
