Carrier Command: Gaea Mission Released Worldwide

Rising Star Games have announced that Carrier Command: Gaea Mission has been released worldwide.  The game is available for the PC and Xbox 360. The game is an updated version of the classic 1988 game Carrier Command. 

Carrier Command: Gaea Mission is  a strategy based game. The game features a mix of first and third person vehicular combat. The game includes tactical and strategic elements. The game is a sandbox adventure which consists of 33 unique islands. These islands host six distinct climatic zones. In the game the player isput in command of a futuristic military carrier.  They must travel through the seas and establish a strategic network in order to conquer the seas.

Phil Robinson, the Vice President of Rising Star spoke about the game commenting:

"We're really excited to be bringing Carrier Command: Gaea Mission to life for our fans." …"The game has a lot of variety.We truly believe that all gamers, whether you're an FPS or strategy fan, will enjoy it."

Unlike its predecessor, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission also includes a story based campaign. In the story gamer’s play as Lieutenant Myriuk, a battle hardened soldier of the United Earth Coalition. Lieutenant Myriuk has been sent to Taurus to repel occupying forces of the Asian Pacific Alliance. The game also features a mode similar to the original Carrier Command called Strategy Game.  In this mode, gamers can set starting parameters such as enemy strength and available resources to determine the difficulty and length of a game.

Carrier Command: Gaea Mission now available to purchase worldwide. The game is available for the Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
