You do know that Christmas is the 25th right?
It’ll be the day after Christmas when all through your house, not a human will want to stir, after the Christmas gorge, when those people from Zen Studios will bring CastleStorm to your Wii U eStores.
Considering the fact that CastleStorm has already been released on nearly every other available platform I’m surprised it’s taken so long and on Wii U eShops it will cost £9.99. There is no word yet to when/if they’re going to release the 2 DLC packs Outcast to Savior and The Warrior Queen. What has been revealed however is that CastleStorm will on the Gamepad without using the TV. In fact you’ll be able use local multiplayer with your friend using the Gamepad while you use the TV.
Don’t worry if you’re stuck on the Gamepad because you won’t be focused to use touchscreen controls because you can just use the sticks and buttons.
For those who don’t know CastleStorm is what happens when you combine your typical tower-defence title with melee combat and add a dash of comedy. Using a mixture of different weapons like sheep with bowel problems you must either destroy your opponents castle or defend your warriors and capture their flag.
If you don’t want to play tower defence you can play as one of your heroes and try and storm their castle but remember you’re not invincible just stronger than your average grunt and some even their own special units.
Along with featuring a single-player and the already mentioned local multiplayer CastleStorm will also feature an online multiplayer, a co-op mode and castle building feature.
I can’t be the only one who thinks that December 26th is really weird release date because while yeah you can just buy it another time, I don’t seem many day one downloads for CastleStorm unless a lot of people get eShop points for Christmas.
CastleStorm will be available on the Wii U eShop for £9.99 on December 26th.
