Phenomic, an Electronic Arts studio dedicated to developing free to play games have announced Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances.
It is an MMO, a Massively Multiplayer Online strategy game with a difference.
It has completed beta testing, and is now live which makes it the first true, anytime, anywhere free cross platform MMO game to play on the move.
You can play on a PC, on a tablet, and even on a smart phone; Basically any device that is capable of going online and accessing an internet browser.
Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances allows you to play as two factions, the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) or the Nod.
You will be harvesting resources, building huge armies, and planning strategies to beat the opposition.
The opposition will consist of true live players, and A.I computer controlled players.
With a special in-game status and news feed, you will be aware of the enemies as well as allied movements forcing you to strategize and adapt on the spot.

Another game, planned for release in the Command & Conquer franchise is Command & Conquer Generals 2.
Produced by Bioware, it will use the advanced Frostbite 2 engine, as seen in Battlefield 3.
