3D seems to be catching on and one famous mobile game, Cut the Rope, is getting the three dimensional

Activision Publishing, Inc. Is bringing Cut the Rope®: Triple Treat exclusively to the Nintendo 3D hand-held system in early 2014. The title will unite 3 full games from ZeptoLab’s hugely successful, Apple Design Award and BAFTA Award-winning, Cut the Rope series – the original mobile version, as well as its first two sequels, Cut the Rope: Experiments and Cut the Rope: Time Travel – in an all-new, 3D experience.

Cut the Rope Triple Threat coming to 3DS For those who are not aware or have never played the mobile game Cut the Rope here is how it works. It is a single-player, touch controlled puzzle game. It’s star is a cute green monster, two things that don’t normally go together, named Om Nom who has a huge appetite for candy, I mean let’s face it candy is amazing. In each scenario, it is up to the player to feed Om Nom the sweet delicious nectar by making your way through a series of challenges. These challenges range in difficulty and get harder as you progress through levels. Collect bonus stars to gain a higher score.

We aren’t quite sure when Cut the Rope: Triple Threat will be available for the 3DS or how much it will cost you. If you’ve got a tablet or Apple product you can download it for free and check it out before it comes out.
