Dark Blood Introduces Tag Mode to Combat

Dark Blood has added a new mode called “Tag Mode” to their combat system. This new mode allows players to switch between characters during a match and add some variety to their player vs player system. They’re also hoping it will give more players a fighting chance when they create characters. You see what I did there, because it’s a fighting game. Fighting chance. Whatever. Philip Yun, CEO of Outspark, added, “Tag Mode introduces double the trouble as players learn to master the art of when and how to tag in. We are always seeking interesting twists in the game to keep our players engaged. This added complexity makes for extremely challenging gameplay and will create superior fighters in the Dark Blood community.”

In addition to being a fabulous name for a heavy metal band, Dark Blood is also a free-to-play MMORPG brawler. Outspark will be at PAX Prime this year and they are hosting a “PAX Fight Night” on August 31st at 5PM PT. They will be giving away customization packs to help players prepare for the fight. Players will compete for a series of in-game items such as avatar dye, weapon dye, repair kits, and a Voice of God. I feel like players who use female avatars should also get the chance to compete for a sweater or maybe some tape, because those avatars are exposed. Can a girl get some armor that actually protects them? No? Their bits are all hanging out, which is highly impractical for any class. Let’s at least make it fair. If the ladies have to have flesh exposed then I want the same for men. Let’s see some seatless chaps for the male Hunter class, or maybe a see-through codpiece for the male Warrior class. That’s what I’m talking about. Objectification for everyone. My work here is done.
