Konami Digital Entertainment announced the release date for the second playable demo for their highly anticipated game PES 2013. Scheduled for release for Xbox 360® on August 28th and on PlayStation®3 on August 29th, the demo promises to offer the gamer an enjoyable and authentic experience while showing off the progress made by developers on the game. And if you’re a PC gamer, don’t worry. Konami has a demo coming out just for you sometime in September.
The demo for PES 2013 will be available for download for free on the Xbox®LIVE Marketplace and Playstation®Network. Players will be able to experience the improvements made to the game since the first demo that was released in July and play with 11 fully licensed teams.
“We wanted to show our hand early with PES 2013 as, frankly, there is a lot to enjoy,” said Jon Murphy, European PES Team Leader for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “However, we are constantly refining the game and this second demo will show fans that we are always striving for perfection, and they will notice many additions and enhancements that bring PES 2013 even closer to matching the grace, unpredictability and skill that top-level football displays.”
The PES 2013 demo will have six difficulty settings and will allow players to play 10-minute matches. The touch-ups on ball trajectory, targeting, offense and defense balancing, movement, and the AI serves as a testament to the PES Production Team’s commitment to achieving football perfection.
Though the PES 2013 demo concentrates on gameplay on the field, it also invites players to try out a few selected training trials. In the full version of the game, these serve as a tutorial to get players used to the fundamentals of shooting, passing, and a few moves to put space between them and the opponent. In order to get a taste of the amount of control PES 2013 has, a handful of these tests are offered to them in the demo.
