THQ have announced that two downloadable content DLC packs have been made available for the recently released Darksiders II. The Argul’s Tomb DLC and the Death Rides pack are available to download now. The DLC can be obtained via Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network and Windows PC.
The Argul’s Tomb DLC is a new gameplay zone that includes two challenging dungeons, new enemies to fight and defeat and more unique legendary loot for players to collect. Gamers who purchased the Limited Edtion of Darksiders II received a unique code in their game box entitling them to download this DLC for free. Players who didn’t purchase the Argul’s Tomb DLC can download the pack for 560 Microsoft points or £5 on the PlayStation Network.
The Death Rides pack adds approximately two additional hours of side quests to the main game. The Death Rides downloadable content was only available previously to those who pre-ordered Darksiders II. The Death Rides DLC is available to buy for 560 Microsoft points or £5 on the PlayStation Network.
Darksiders II is the sequel to the critically acclaimed game Darksiders. The game follows the adventures of Death, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse in a adventure which expands on the events of the original Darksiders. Darksiders II is a third person action adventure game with roleplaying elements.In Darksiders II gamers play as Death as he is propelled through the various light and dark realms as he seeks to find his brother War, the horseman blamed for starting the Apocalypse prematurely in the original Darksiders.
Argul’s Tomb and the Death Rides Pack, as well as all other pre-order DLC packs, will be included on the Wii U version of Darksiders II.
Darksiders II is currently available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and PC, with a WiiU version scheduled for release at launch of the WiiU.
