It was previously thought that the Steelbook Edition of Dead Island Riptide was only going to be available in the US. Well turns out that infomation is now false, as due to high fan demand the special Steelbook edition of the game will be issued as a pre-order bonus in the UK as well.
Strictly while supplies last, anyone who places a pre-order, or who has already pre-ordered at Amazon or GAME in the UK, will receive the awesome Dead Island Riptide Steelbook once your order ships.
There will only be a limited amount of Steelbooks available, so get them while you can because as it turns out, a lot of people want them!
Already one of the most anticipated titles of 2013, fans will finally be able to take on the zombie hordes once again when Dead Island Riptide is released on April 23, 2013 in the USA and Canada, and on April 26, 2013 in the rest of the world. I don’t know about you guys but i am very very excited for this because i’ve been waiting for a reason to jump back into the beautifully dead world of Dead Island.
There are two different versions of the game, now available for pre-order. They are as follows:
· Pre-order Edition: This version of Dead Island Riptide will include an exclusive pack of weapon mods that allows even more, manifold ways to dispose of the ghastly zombie hordes on Palanai island.
· Special Retailers Edition: In addition to the weapon mods this version will contain an alternate character skin not obtainable anywhere else! The Special Edition will only be available at selected retail partners. Details about the retail partners per territory offering the Special Edition will be announced soon. The Special Retailers Edition will also feature an alternative packshot.
Dead Island Riptide will be released on April 23, 2013 in the USA and Canada and on April 26, 2013 in the rest of the world for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and for Windows PC.
