Discover Neverwinter in the Open Beta

Dungeons & Dragons® Neverwinter, the most anticipated free MMORPG of 2013, is now available to play through the newly released open beta. Perfect World Entertainment Inc. and Cryptic Studios just released the open beta yesterday on April 30, so why not try it out. Neverwinter is free to play and will definitely provide gamers with way more action, combat, adventure, and wonder than some MMOs.

According to Executive Producer and COO of Cryptic Studios, Craig Zinkievich, the studio has released the beta after four successful Beta weekends and months of Alpha testing. Craig Zinkievich also said that,” On behalf of the entire team at Perfect World and Cryptic Studios, I’d like to thank the Founders, Beta Weekend participants, Alpha testers, fans, and press for their feedback and continued support in making Neverwinter the best game we’ve ever launched.”

The Neverwinter beta will include unrestricted access to all the game’s content including the content creation system, the Foundry, and other features. The great thing about this beta is that there won’t be any further character wipes. All the skill upgrades, profession choices, customizations, companions, mounts, and other aspects of the game will shape the adventure you will have to rebuild the city of Neverwinter.

In Neverwinter, players will strive to save the city of Neverwinter from Valindra Shadowmantle’s evil forces and to stop them. The Foundry feature in the game allows gamers to take control of their own adventures, publish their own content to the game world, look at missions and quests from other players, and to also tip talented creators with in-game currency. The open beta will now include something for the Neverwinter community, Neverwinter’s Gateway, which is a web portal were gamers can have access to in-game status info from computers, tablets, or phones. In Neverwinter’s Gateway, players can specifically craft, view their characters, buy and sell items, examine their guild and events, as well as have access to their account’s mailbox.

We are also going to include the released Neverwinter opening cinematic so that your eyes can enjoy its beauty and art. The cinematic is seriously a fine piece of eye candy.
