Konami has revealed that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance’s third DLC pack which has been named the Blade Wolf pack which if you remember was originally revealed to near the release of the last DLC pack “Jetstream Sam” will be released May 18th on the Xbox 360 for 560 Microsoft Points and on PS3 for €6.99.
The side story of Blade Wolf will focus on everyone’s favourite cyborg dog with a chainsaw tail LQ-84i or Blade Wolf for short and like in the Jetstream Sam DLC, Blade Wolf will focus on his story prior to the events of Revengeance after he gets reactivated by Sundowner and served under Mistral until his fight with Raiden and his eventual change into Blade Wolf.
Sadly if this picture is anything to go by the DLC will feature stealth sections
Blade Wolf will introduce a new set of weapons and abilities so players to get their hands on and plenty of enemies to try them out on including Blade Wolf’s own boss fight and the DLC will apparently span “multiple hours”.
I’d like to point out that this DLC will cost less than Jetstream Sam which may have something to do with the reactions people had to the price of Jetstream Sam due to it being apparently being too short.
The Blade Wolf DLC pack is set to be released on Xbox 360 May 14th and on the PS3 May 15th.
