Dead Rising 3 World Reveal
Dead Rising 3 takes place 10 years after the events of Dead Rising 2, in Las Perdidos where the nationwide zombie outbreak has consumed the entire city. You play as survivor Nick Ramos, a younger engineer who is struggling to survive the mass of zombies before him while trying to escape the city before a military strikes takes out the entire city, including you.
Dead Rising 3 is noticeably darker and less humorous than its predecessors with a deeper story line while capturing the characters struggle to survive at the same time. Dead Rising 3 will also be including a bigger, more believable world than the first two in the series. With the capability’s of the Xbox One the open world will be able to load much quicker, while still keeping you in the action with the new impressive visuals that the next-gen console will be able to handle. Dead Rising 3 will feature many different ways to take care of the impending zombie horde any way you may choose with the 100’s of different weapons or weapon combinations that the game is set to feature.
Speaking of weapon combinations, the player will be able to take two seamless weapons and craft them into one, much bigger, powerful weapon. The game is also set to feature better vehicles and mechanics, making them much more useful than they might have been in the first two games. Dead Rising 3 will also be able to cater to all types of gamers, the hardcore or more casual player depending on how you like to play.
For the more casual player the game will let you take your time while exploring however you like, giving no time limit for what you can do. For the hardcore players the game will feature nightmare mode, that includes very hard to kill zombies while putting a non-stop counter on the time that the player will have to get out before the city is destroyed. Co-op play will also be an addition to the game, letting you or your friend hop straight in or out of your game no problem.
While helping them with a mission will grant you XP that will also carry over to your game helping you out in your own story. Like many other of the next-gen Xbox One releases, Dead Rising 3 will take into its hands the full compatibility of the Xbox Smartglass. Including features such as being able to call in a mortar strike if you ever get caught in mob of zombies, tracking your missions or stats, or use it as a map of Las Perdidos so you can find your way around. It will also have some uses of Kinect, letting the zombies respond to noises that they might hear around your room or even using the Kinect to shout voice commands to your player to command him to do certain things.
Dead Rising 3 will be an exclusive for the Xbox One, being developed by Capcom and published by Microsoft.
