Eurogamer Expo the UK’s biggest gaming festival, have announced that this year's show will feature the first ever Rezzed PC and Indie Games Zone. The Rezzed PC and Indie Games Zone showcases top independent games including Hotline Miami and Prison Architect.
Earlier this year, the organisers of Eurogamer hosted Rezzed: The PC and Indie Games Show in Brighton, UK. The show brought together fans of PC and independent gaming to see a large number of games in development on a hands on basis. The Rezzed PC and Indie Games Zone at this year's Eurogamer Expo, hopes to recapture the atmosphere of that event and will offer attendees a dedicated space to examine top PC and independent developers away from the commotion of the main show floor.
Some of the independent games being shown in include Hotline Miami, Prison Architect, Natural Selection 2, Guns of Icarus, Strike Suit Zero and Carrier Command: Gaea Mission will all be playable at the showcase.
The Rezzed PC and Indie Games Zone will also host the biggest ever Indie Games Arcade which is sponsored by SEGA. The Indie Games Arcade will showcase 16 brand new independent games, which Eurogamer visitors will be able to play for free. The 16 independent games in the show were chosen through a submission and selection process overseen by editors of Eurogamer.net and RockPaperShotgun.com along with acclaimed Indie Games Arcade curator David Hayward.
Eurogamer Operations Director Tom Bramwell spoke about the event stating that;

The Eurogamer Expo 2012 promises to deliver more playable games and UK first-plays to visitors than ever before. The event has also advertised a high-profile developer session schedule, as well as a number of hugely anticipated satellite events which include the Games Industry Fair.
The Eurogamer Expo will take place in London’s Earls Court from 27th-30th September 2012 and is expected to welcome over 50,000 gamers from across the world.
