EX3D Releases 3D Gaming Eyewear

EX3D has created special 3D glasses tailored to the needs of gamers. That’s right, they’ve made glasses that will yell at people on Xbox Live on your behalf, so you can focus your energy on actually playing the game. The glasses come preloaded with over 100 insulting phrases, from classics like, “Your parent/guardian is so fat” to more modern riffs like, “You stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder!” They’ve even added Shakespearean insults such as, “Thou art like a toad; ugly and venomous…” for the literary crowd.

It looks like I got that wrong. EX3D has released two sets of glasses for the gaming community. One is called “EX3D Dual View Game Eyewear.” This comes with two sets of 3D eyewear, with one set that has two left lenses and another with two right lenses. This will filter out 3D signals for players on a split screen game, turning each player’s split screen into a full screen. No more screen snitching, although I do foresee people knocking their own glasses off “accidentally” or taking them off to rub their eyes. Some people really want to win. This set will be £35 and will be available in September at UK electronic stores, and as an American, that really stinks. We don’t like being left out.

EX3D has also created a pair of officially licensed Black Ops 2 3D glasses called “The Call of Duty® Black Ops II Eyewear.” These glasses feature lenses that are said to bring out details and are supposed to increase shooting accuracy. They will be £25 and will be available in November and only at UK electronics stores. Now this is starting to hurt my feelings. I guess I’ll have to be comforted by all of the video games and movies that are released here first. Yeah, how do you like them apples, gamers and moviegoers in the UK? USA! USA! …I still feel sad.
