F1 Race Stars Coming in November

F1 Race Stars

One of the most common game in sports would be racing. It seems like with the advancement of technology that we find new ways for people to race against each other. I guess this is why racing cars is so fascinating to people. Being able to drive in a vehicle that is designed to accelerate over a hundred miles per hour and scrap paint against other race cars, without getting into a violent crash. Unfortunately for people that can’t afford an expensive car like that – and don’t want to tarnish our record with the police by racing in our suburban area – we can always play video games that let us race around in virtual vehicles. But unlike real life, we could make the racing games a bit more interesting by defying gravity or laws of science. Codemasters will be bringing us F1 Race Stars this November to satisfy our desire to burn rubber on asphalt.

A “teaser” video is available on F1RaceStars.com. In the video you will see FIA formula one world championship drivers Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Sabastian Vettel – represented as cartoon-like characters that drive around in cartoon-like versions of their vehicles. The game steps further away from reality when the drivers rush towards a hairpin that is perpendicular to the ground.

F1 Race Stars will be made by Codemasters racing studios in Birmingham, UK, the home of several official formula one games. Even if the game uses official drivers from formula one, the game might be more familiar to Mario Kart fans as it uses jumps, hairpins, and loop-the-loop challenges in the race with a variety of power-ups to collect. Players will tour around the world at famous formula one locations, such as Monaco, Silverstone and the new Circuit of Americas in Austin, Texas. The game will feature a variety of game modes beyond career mode, such as 4-player split-screen and 12-player competition.

F1 Race Stars will burn rubber (and drive up vertically) this November on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
