FUTURE SOLDIER ARCTIC STRIKE DLC

FUTURE SOLDIER ARCTIC STRIKE DLC

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has announced its first DLC package, The Arctic Strike Map Pack. The content will be available on July 17th for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the Sony PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.

The Arctic Strike DLC is actually a map pack for the title’s multiplayer component. It will feature three new maps for competitive play, while a new environment named Guerilla will also be added to its co-op mode. And then there will even be a fresh multiplayer mode dubbed Stockade, the details of which haven’t been revealed by Ubisoft yet.

New achievements will also be included in this add-on which is set to raise the level cap by 10 points. Future Soldier was first launched for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in May this year, while its PC release took place late in June. We reviewed its PS3 version and gave it a good 8/10 for its excellent stealth-based gameplay.

A total of six weapons will form part of the DLC, two each for the three classes made available in the game’s multiplayer section. While the Rifleman rank will get the F2000 and the CZS805 assault rifles, the Scout class will be bestowed with the Type 05 JS and the BT MP9 submachine guns. Lastly, the Engineer class will be seen receiving the OCP-11 and the Mk17 weapons through the DLC.
The Arctic Strike DLC for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be doled out via PSN and Xbox Live starting July 17. It will be priced at 7.99 GBP (approx. Rs. 685) and 800 Microsoft Points, respectively.

Einfo Games Ghost Recon Future Soldier Review said about the game “You will ultimately find yourself burning away the hours in this promising component that easily makes up for the drowning downer that is the single player campaign.”
