Codemasters have unveiled the first gameplay trailer for F1 Race Stars, the arcade racing game. F1 Race Stars will feature official Formula One cars, teams and circuits. The game is set for release on November 16th, and the first trailer video is now playing at www.F1RacingStars.com
In the gameplay video, the cast of F1 Race Stars speed through tracks, flying through the sky making huge jumps and charging through tunnels. Players can also collect and use a range of power ups to boost ahead or slow their rivals. In the game, each circuit unveils a stage of F1 fun. The game is packed with overtaking moves, taunts and speedy boosts.
F1 Race Stars will feature superfast Formula One racing as they go head-to-head with all of the official Formula One drivers, transformed into hilarious caricatures. Gamers can pick and choose from a range of fantasy and Formula One themed power ups. In the game, if the player’s car takes damage, gamers can race through the pit lane to get back up to speed. A variety of different routes, boost pads and shortcuts will help players get ahead in the game. whilst a variety of different routes, boost pads and shortcuts will all slingshot players ahead.
F1 Race Stars features an extensive career mode with three tiers of difficulty. The game also includes both traditional Grand Prix competitions and a range of objective game modes, including races against the clock, gate challenges amongst others. Gamers can also delve into free play mode for a quick race around their favourite circuit and even enter Time Trials to test their speed.
F1 Race Stars has four player split-screens racing, and combined online multiplayer for 12 players racing at once. Gamers can track their races, rivals and rewards with Codmasters’ RaceNet. Codemasters’ RaceNet, IS the free online extension for Codemasters Racing games. Players can also join in regular F1 Race Stars community events.
F1 Race Stars will be available for the PC, PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 and is available for pre-order now.
