Dark Vale Games, an independent developer have announced that they will release a new game Forge. Forge is a multiplayer only PC game set in a ‘high action fantasy world’. The game will release on the 4th December digitally for $19.99. As an extra incentive, any gamer who purchases Forge for $19.99 will receive a second copy of the game free to bring another potential competitor into the game.
Forge is a game developed using the Unreal Engine 3 from Epic Games. The game promises to bridge the gap between the skill based action of FPS and the strategic elements of PvP battles in massively multiplayer online games. Forge will feature a variety of worlds, unique fantasy classes, high speed combat and an arsenal of spells and attacks for players to discover and enjoy.
Forge is a multiplayer only PC game which focuses on PvP combat and mixes third-person shooters with MMO strategic gameplay techniques. Gamers will need to use their reflexes, aim and strategic thoughts to fight and defeat their opponents. Forge’s competitive multiplayer will require team work, strategy and skill for success.
In Forge gamers will enter the faceless world which has been rid of the gods by a malicious enemy named The Devourer. In the world of Forge every champions death feeds the immortal beings powers making them harder to kill. Gamers will play as one of five unique warrior classes and battle head-to-head to free their God from the Devourers imprisonment.

Forge will be released on December 4th as a digital download. The game will be available to purchase via Steam, Amazon.com and GamersGate.
