Gadget Show Live Comes To London

For the first time, the Gadget Show will be coming to the South East, to the ExCel in London for a new special event 'Gadget Show Live Christmas'.

Tickets are available now at:

www.gadgetshowlive.net/tickets

It will be at the ExCel exhibition centre in London from the 30th November to the 2nd December 2013. Seems quite far away, however tickets for other events have sold out very quickly indeed.

“Tickets to Gadget Show Live Christmas’ sister show – Gadget Show Live, in Birmingham – sold out in record time this Easter, so we really do recommend that visitors book early, especially for Super Theatre passes and weekend sessions.”

said Matt Hodgins, Gadget Show Live Christmas event director.

An event for the whole family, Gadget Show Live allows you to try and buy all the latest tech available with many offering exclusive discounts especially for the event.

Companies there will include Windows, LG, Canon, Sonos, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Wii U, Electronic Arts, Virgin Media, TOM TOM, and LEGO Technic.

Different zones will offer something different:

The Game Zone will allow visitors to play the brand new Nintendo Wii U games console on launch day, as well as on the Xbox 360 with EA, letting you play FIFA 13, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and Need for Speed: Most Wanted, as well as companies Game and Overclockerz.

The Gaming Stage which is incorporated into the Game Zone, will allow you to play the latest console and PC games, compete in mass gaming sessions with other players, with challenges for both hardcore and casual gamers.

The Toy Zone is new to Gadget Show Live, and will feature leading toy companies showing all their latest gear, including from LEGO Technics, remote controlled flying toys from Flying Gadgets, and Inspiration Works, Dano Dots, ProMech Racing, and Wow Stuff all confirmed for the exhibit.

The Active Zone will bring together popular products you have seen on the shows, which could include camping gear, sport equipment, personal transport and fitness devices.

Along with these zones, there will be a HUB Theatre, and a Super Theatre.

The HUB Theatre will be at the centre of the exhibit, and will have fun, informative reviews of the latest tech, and apps, which will help visitors choose the best products for them.

The Super Theatre is a 2,500 seat arena, and will host a special show featuring the presenters of the TV show, and will welcome special guests. I personally went to one of these shows in Birmingham, and can say that it is really something worth going to, as it brings everything together, giving you something extra to look forward to when you want a little break from the viewing.

Matt Hodgins also had these things to say:

“Following the success of Gadget Show Live in Birmingham, we’re very excited about coming to east London to launch Gadget Show Christmas.

The show is an unmissable event for gadget fans of all ages, jam-packed with the very latest tech and awe-inspiring demos and entertainment. It’s also the ultimate Christmas shopping destination for gadget gifts, games and toys"
