British retail company GAME announces it is giving gamers an exclusive look at the up coming game The Last of Us for the PlayStation 3.
Weeks before the game is to be released, 75 stores are going to hold all night lock-ins allowing gamers the ability to play the game and get free items.
The Last of Us is set to be released June 14th. GAME stores, in partnership with Sony, will be holding the gaming parties between May 3rd and June 9th.
Anyone interested in joining in on the lock-ins, as you should be, can register at the nearest GAME retailer whether by phone, visiting in person, or tweeting to get a chance to be apart of the action. Hurry though because spaces are limited and you must be over 18 to qualify.
Customers attending these gaming extravaganzas will be able to pick up a free double-sided The Last of Us poster when and if they have pre-ordered the game.
For those not familiar with what The Last of Us is let me fill you in. The story follows the character Joel, a survivor of the savage cordyceps virus infection which has turned the Unite States of America into a post apocalyptic wasteland. He journeys across America with a special girl named Ellie, leaving the quarantined zone they were confined to. You will battle fierce mutated creatures as well as other survivors who are trying to make it in the harsh hell. Created by those who brought us Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter and Uncharted. The Last of Us is shaping up to to be a fantastic and beautiful game.
GAME is also offering a customers an exclusive Ellie Edition of The Last of Us which features a canvas wrap, a mini, art book, a bonus blu-ray disc, a controller skin, digital content and many more.
