Gas Guzzlers Extreme crashes its way to the front on Steam
Iceberg Interactive have revealed Gas Guzzlers Extreme can be downloaded now on Steam. The indie game, developed by Gamepires, is a racing game with a twist, in this case being absolute carnage. Gas guzzlers Extreme contains both single player and multiplayer modes, with 40 tracks, 8 combat arenas and realistic physics and graphics.
On the game, Andrej Levenski, the technical director at Gamepires had this to say.
“The Gamepires team is very proud of what we have achieved with Gas Guzzlers Extreme regarding technology and gameplay. We hope the standard that we have set with Gas Guzzlers Extreme in terms of graphics, physics and gameplay will become the new benchmark for any future car combat title.”
Iceberg Interactive CEO Erik Schreuder added,
“Gamers have been waiting for this one and we’re delighted to oblige,. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some vehicles to destroy.”
Now for some information on the game. Gas guzzlers extreme contains cars ranging form small everyday cars up to American muscle cars and beasty SUV’s. Players start at the bottom in a little push around and work their way up to the big time high performance monster vehicles. In game features include:
- Single player campaign with over 12hours of action packed racing
- Multiplayer tournaments containing several modes including deathmatch and capture the flag for up to four teams
- 40 tracks and 8 arenas
- 12 different weapens
- 18 types of car customiation
- Instant play with AI opponents filling spots until more players join
- High def graphics with realistic damage, motion blur and custom paint jobs
- Support for keyboards, joy pads, joy sticks and racing wheels
- Steam Achievements, Cloud Saving, Big Picture and Trading Cards.
