Ubisoft Working On Ghost Recon Future Soldier Raven Strike DLC
The Raven Strike pack, due in September, is said to be a throwback to the traditional roots of the Ghost Recon series.
Raven Strike follows on from last month’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier ‘Arctic Strike’ DLC, and Ubisoft have commented that they are “hard at work on further DLC content planned for release later this year”.
In Ghost Recon: Future Soldier players were able to join an elite team of highly trained, cut-throat special-ops soldiers. Players were heavily armed with the most recent military hardware. In the game, players were given the task of going to the worlds most deadly warzones and hunting down targets. The new DLC will build and expand upon the original game.
The Raven Strike DLC will feature larger maps, more complex missions and feature an increased level of difficulty. The package will contain three campaign missions, and a Guerilla mode map. Each new mission will be playable with up to four players.
The Raven Strike DLC content includes:
3 new missions in Campaign Mode
• Secure Dawn: a foggy marsh in Kazakhstan where the Ghosts will not be allowed access to advanced technology (no optical camouflage, drone or sensor grenade)
• Cold Walker: a train depot on the Russian countryside.
• Argent Thunder: a night-time urban setting in Moscow.
1 new map in Guerrilla Mode
• Sawmill: face 50 waves of enemies on a foggy Russian countryside.
Raven Strike will be available on the 11th September for the Xbox 360 and will cost 1200 Microsoft points. It will be available on the 12th of September for the PS3 and will cost £11.99 on the PlayStation Network.
Ubisoft are also preparing the content for a PC release but have not announced a date for its release.
