– New weapons and maps at launch; regular updates announced –
Tactical Intervention’s successful beta phase has now ended and gone live for players worldwide. The beta began near the end of August and since then many changes have gone through thanks to updates by the many gamers in the beta. One of these changes include players starting out with additional content: various different weapons, items, and two new maps.
More than 200,000 members of the community were registered in the beta and provided ongoing feedback, including e-sports clan MTF.Gaming. The original September launch was moved to early October, allowing for developer FIX Korea and publisher 1337 Games to make changes based on the comments made by the community.
Robin Dreger, Managing Director of the Luxembourg e-sports clan MTF.Gaming, said the following about the release:
As we are convinced that the game will occupy a permanent place in the e-sports scene, we started a T.I. team right after the release of the open beta. The fact that the developers cooperate very closely with the community and that they implement their suggestions and proposals has convinced us. Therefore we will continue working with 1337 Games and help to further develop TI.
Four new weapons have now been included in Tactical Intervention and include SA 58 Entry Assault Rifle and the Automatic XD45 Pistol. The two new maps included are Skyline which includes hostage rescue and Office death match, totaling eleven maps total.
Tactical Intervention can be downloaded via Steam and is free to play.
