Developer CCP Games has now unleashed the latest Dust 514 update, called Uprising 1.5. CCP is still fully dedicated to advancing the foundations of Dust 514’s experience as well as taking community feedback onboard. Uprising 1.5 is CCP’s latest in a line of quick-fire updates.
The basis of Uprising 1.5 is new and fleshed out Corporation Roles and a revamped New Player experience, alongside a new Squad Finder. Updates have included the following:
Revised New Player Experience: The tutorials have undergone a revamp, and now reward players for showing their expertise in joining battles, creating fittings and training skills. Rewards take the form of militia dropsuits, vehicles, weapons and modules.
- Squad Finder: Squads are designed to help players battle together and into organized into groups. All available squads not yet deployed and waiting for new players will be listed.
- New Corporation Roles: Other members with a corporation can now be assigned specific roles by a Corporation CEOs or directors. These roles are: Accountant, Personnel Director, Terrestrial Combat Officer and Terrestrial Logistics Officer.
