Grid 2, Codemasters’ sucessor to the ever popular Grid is to be playable for the first time at the Eurogamer Expo in London on 27th-30th September 2012.
After some playing, on Saturday in the afternoon at 3pm, Codemasters will be delivering a developer session titled ‘GRID 2: Total Race Day Immersion’.
“We got a chance to check out GRID 2 at Codemasters’ offices last week ahead of today’s announcement and it looks amazing. We can’t wait for people to play it,” said Eurogamer Operations Director Tom Bramwell. “It’s also going to be fantastic to hear from the developers about what they’re attempting with the game and see some of their work in progress during the developer session.”
Tickets are still available for this event, though they are selling out very quick.

I will personally be trying to gather as much information about this game as I can at the Eurogamer Expo, and will hopefully write about my hands on with the game (I expect the queues will be huge)
I have Grid, so it will be interesting to see what has been added to this new game, as Grid really did push the boundries of the racing genre, and I’m sure will continue to do so.
The game is expected to release sometime in 2013. No specific date has yet been set.
