Halo: Spartan Assault uses Havok Technology

  Havok recently announced that their AI technology has  been incorporated into Halo: Spartan Assault, a title for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8. Havok is a big name in the 3D video game industry, and their involvement in this title will surely help bring about another success in the Halo franchise.

  Halo: Spartan Assault is set in the same Halo universe we all know. The  game isoptimized for portable controls, and features the amazing art style that halo is known for. The game takes place between Halo 3 and 4, and explores the history of both the Spartan Ops program and the human covenant wars. Players can play as either commander Sarah Palmer or Spartan Davis as they fight for their lives against covenant forces. Through creative storytelling and intense action, Halo: Spartan Assault  brings the award-winning Halo formula to the mobile platform. The game is available for $6.99 on the Windows Phone 8 app store.

Halo: Spartan Assault is one of the first titles on the Windows Phone 8 to use Havok. This seems like a perfect fit, since Halo prides itself on having competent and challenging AI. Partners such as Havok and Vanguard games have helped transition the series to the Smartphone.
