Killer is Dead first trailer reveal

Killer is Dead first trailer reveal

Suda 51’s back with his oddest named game yet

With a name like Killer is Dead you just know that the game in question isn’t going to contain your everyday storyline and from what Killer is Dead’s first trailer has shown it certainly backs that up. Killer is Dead is due to be released in Summer 2013 on Xbox 360 and PS3. It’s being developed by Suda 51 who’s previous games include “Killer7” and the “No More Heroes” games and it just so happens that the game is being described as part “Killer7” and part “No More Heroes”.

Killer is Dead plot will follow Mondo Zappa, a 35-year-old executioner who wields a sword in one hand and his left arm is a cybernetic arm that can change into multiple different weapons. At the end of the trailer the main character says that “One thing is for certain. This is a story of Love and Execution” so the story itself sounds pretty interesting. Interestingly enough Suda 51 has described that game as a “Dark Side 007”.

This is Mondo Zappa and that name just rolls of your tongue doesn't it

Well at least Mondo Zappa is a memorable name right

The game has been described as part “No More Heroes” and it appears that the part taken is the combat which from what is shown in the trailer looks awfully similar to anyone who’s played the “No More Hero” games only somehow managing to be more violent and bloody but hopefully the games combat will somehow set itself apart from “No More Heroes”.

Killer is Dead has a cool and unique stylised look to it and it’s graphic’s remains me of what a darker version of Asura’s Wraith would look like if you added more neon. In any case from what has been shown so far the game’s graphics look great.

So this is Killer is Dead first trailer  and this will be the first episode of trailers to be released for this game as revealed because the trailer ends like a anime with Mondo Zappa telling the player “to stay tuned” for the next “episode” is titled “A beautiful women who has devilish hands”.
