Creat Studios have announced announced their grand prize winner and runner up of their recent fan art contest. The debut fan art contest supported the current release of PlayStation Network action-adventure game Labyrinth Legends.
Lucy Anne Lowe, a character artist based in Manchester, U.K., landed the grand prize prize for her depiction of a scene from Mushroom Wars, while Andrew Resnick, a master’s student in game design demonstrated his artistic talents with a unique take on Labyrinth Legends.
Fans of Creat Studios’ PlayStation Network releases were invited to create original art based on any of the studio’s line-up of thirteen games. Lowe and Resnick have won all thirteen PlayStation Network game titles, including Labyrinth Legends. Their winning submission will be featured on the Creat Studios web site, blog and Facebook page through the month of January, 2013.
Scott Hyman, VP of Publishing of Creat Studios Inc spoke about the competition saying:
“We are pleased to have had a strong response to our first-ever fan art contest.” … “Announcing our winners is great way to kick off the New Year, and to highlight the terrific early responses and reviews we have received for Labyrinth Legends.”
Labyrinth Legends is receiving strong reviews from both consumers and games press for its tight game play vivid graphics, intuitive controls and its fun factor. Gamers have been receptive to the games, demanding a port to the Vita ASAP. Labyrinth Legends is an addictive arcade action adventure dungeon crawler. The game features tricky puzzles and concealed traps in ancient tombs of lost civilizations.
