The National Entertainment Collectibles Association (NECA) has announced a limited edition Bioshock 2 Splicers Pack, completing the Bioshock 2 Splicers series of collectibles.
The pack features 7”, fully poseable figures of the long-awaited Crawler Splicer, as well as a variant of the Ladysmith Splicer. The figures also come with several accessories, including a removable mask and hook for the Crawler, and a removable mask, shotgun, wrench and display stand for the Ladysmith splicer variant. The Bioshock 2 Splicers series of figures also contains the previously released Brute Splicer, as well as the original Ladysmith Splicer figure.
Randy Falk, the NECA director of product development had the following to say on the new figures.
“We have designed a very limited production run to help fill the void many collectors have felt in not being able to obtain the Crawler Splicer or the special Variant edition of Ladysmith Splicer. This is a special thank-you to the fans who have followed and collected the line and have waited patiently for these figures to be released.”
Even though this latest pack completes the Splicer pack, there are a whole host of other Bioshock collectibles also available, including an 8” Eve Hypo replica with LED lights. With the recent success of Bioshock Infinite, NECA have also expanded the range to include some figures from the adventures in Columbia, including a 9” Patriot replica and a 7” figure of Elizabeth.
The latest pack is priced at $34.99, though only 5000 packs will be produced, meaning that fans will have to snap the figures up quickly! The latest Bioshock 2 Splicers Pack is available from gamecrazy.com now, along with the Eve Hypo replica. The Bioshock Infinite replicas are available from the NECA website, though again stock is limited and fans should be quick to get any figures they’re interested in.
