Loadout, the new frantic, fast-paced, Free-to-Play third person shooter from Edge of Reality is looking to turn the dial of team-based shooters up to 11.
The premise of Loadout is simple. Everything is customisable. The main focus of Loadout is letting you play the game your way, and that means all you gun-nuts out there get to customise everything about your weapon and then unleash it upon your foes in a thrilling 3v3 or 6v6 slaughter.
Gun customisation is the focal point of this game, and with so many options to customise your weapon of choice you can spend hours tinkering and changing things until you have in your hands, the perfect instrument of death.
Customise anything from the stock of your gun, the trigger, what chassis it uses, if it has a scope, the ammo type it uses, how your ammo behaves, if you want a rocket, a beam, bullets, you name it you can have it, the possibilities are endless.
Fancy yourself a Laser-Guided Hexabarrel Rocket Launcher that sends your rockets spiralling in different directions that will bounce off a surface several times, blow up on proximity to an enemy into several smaller cluster explosives? They got you covered.
Fancy yourself a weapon that can heal and buff your team mates from afar? No problem, just stick some healing rounds in that high-power Sniper Rifle you're making and off you go.
Once you have your weapon of choice, attach it to a Loadout and off you go. The game has 4 game modes: Death Snatch, Blitz, Jackhammer and Extraction, these can be played across 3 different maps in teams of roughly 3v3 or 6v6, ensuring that there is always someone to frag with your latest creation.
