Today, the developers of Elsword, a f2p action MMORPG, announced an assorted amount of sweet events to celebrate Valentine’s Day and the upcoming Lunar New Year. Elsword is excited to get the games’ community these seasonal events. The holidays are just a mere four days apart and so Elsword is sure to be packed full of content for the next upcoming weeks.
Cupid has come to town in Elsword, and Kill3rCombo, in order to encourage players to share experiences in the events, is going to host a cool Valentine’s Day themed challenge. The six characters of Elsword have been paired up with another. Love is sure to blossom as players go into dungeons with their paired characters for a chance to earn special items. Players will need to stay tuned to Kill3rCombo and Elsword to find out which characters will be paired up together. While players are in dungeons Cupid has a chance to make random appearances. When Cupid pops up the enemies will become “smitten” and easier to conquer. This exciting news gives possibilities for players to be able to level up easier as they will be able to do the hardest dungeons with help from Cupid.
In an interesting twist to the Valentine’s Day events, players will be able to have a chance to win in-game dates with their favorite GMs. GMs will accompany players to dungeon runs or just stroll around town hanging out. Perhaps a long moonlit walk on the beach? Who knows… anything can happen!
To celebrate the start of a new year and the Lunar New Year of 2013, events and items will be available to players. Come February 10, 2013, players will be able to get a hold of some sweet impressive and rare items. The special Lunar themed items will be able to be found while running dungeons; such as, dumplings and fireworks that will help make short work out of enemies. Like the Valentine’s Day dungeon events, the Lunar New Year events will give players an increased chance for items while dungeon crawling together. Players will have the chance to get special cubes that hold incredibly rare items in them.
