It may be a couple of months late for the reunion but Peace Walker is finally available for digital download on PS Vita

When the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection was released on PS Vita it was missing the PSP’s Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker until now because recently KONAMI announced the PSP version of Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker is now available for digital download on PSN.Since the version for download will be the PSP version there will be no trophies for players to unlock in-game which was kind of an odd choice. The game itself currently cost £19.99 as part of the PSP PSN Sales although it will usually be £39.99
For people who have never played Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Peace Walker takes the standard MGS formula of stealth and a confusing storyline and mixes in some RTS and RPG elements by giving the player control over a homebase to help grow and even develop their own Metal Gear by ripping parts off the games unique mechs bosses who all sing.
While the games short missions may serve to break up the action too much on consoles, it’s not a problem here because the game was made for portable gaming. The games cutscenes are all drawn by Yoji Shinkawa and comic book artist Ashley Wood and they look great.

Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker also feature many multiplayer options that players never got to play on the PSP due to a lack of people using it. The game has weapons that can only be used with another player like a railgun and players can that part in four player CO-OPS which stands for COoperative – OPerationS.
Players can also take part in three on three battles over the handhelds Ad Hoc where players have to help each other by healing, sharing ammo and using the snake formation to cover blind spots.
So Peace Walker is now available for digital download on PSN so if you’re interested then go and download it now because let’s be honest there aren’t many games that can have the play shoot rockets at creatures from the Monster Hunter franchise
