Brawn meets finesse in the new Dragon’s Crown character videos
Dragon’s Crown is an upcoming multiplayer focused hack and slash beat-em-up. it is some what a fantasy version of Streets of Rage if Street of Rage was inspired by J. R. R. Tolkien.
Dragon’s Crown is coming exclusively for the PS3 and PS Vita from Atlus and recently they’ve released two brand new character videos to show-off.
First let’s start with the Dwarf who is definitely the more melee focused of the two with his ability to literally toss enemies around as well as take out his dual weapons to destroy whoever is in front of him. He is also the demolition specialist for hopefully some ranged options.
If the Dwarf is for players who just want to smash and blow up everybody in front of them than the Elf is for players who want to do things with a little more finesse. She can jump around the arena to dodge enemies and can charge her arrows (because Elves always have bows for some reason) for elemental damage.
If your using the Elf than you should beware that you only have a limited number of arrows but don’t worry because the Elf can run into combat and use her lightning speed kicks and slide to take out your opponents. Just don’t forget to dodge because she’s obviously not going to be the games tank.
Dragon’s Crown has a unique art style and the game will feature a bunch of “epic” boss fights like the giant chimera and the demon.
Players can now pre-order Dragon’s Crown at major retailers and pre-ordering the game will get you a 64 page artwork book. Dragons Crown will come out for the PS3 and PS Vita August 6th.
