Rayman Legends is making the leap to the PS Vita
With its latest trailer Ubisoft has now confirmed that Rayman Legends will be coming out for the PS Vita along with the Xbox 360, PS3 and the Wii U but it won’t be the inferior version. In the trailer it shows us that the PS Vita edition will come with exclusive content.
Along with the content on the other platforms the PS Vita version of Rayman Legends will come with five exclusive levels. You’ll be controlling Murphy the greenbottle flies who players might remember from previous games which are all controlled using the Vita’s Rear Touch Pad.
Rayman Legends also comes with multiplayer where players in the same country can play in co-op play while they challenge each other. This naturally comes with leaderboards to keep you playing even after you finish the single-player mode.
Along with the five exclusive maps the PS Vita version also comes with two costumes created from the Ubisoft Montpellier team. Fans might recognise this team from other Ubisoft games. Rayman gets to play dress up as the Prince of Persia from the latest none movie related game in the series.
Meanwhile Globox gets to cosplay as a spy from Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell series and interestingly enough in the trailer we see Globox in a Splinter Cell themed level where even the enemies are dressed accordingly which is a nice touch.
Rayman Legends will be available on the PS3, PS Vita, Wii U and the Xbox 360 on August 30th in the UK and the game will retain Origins unique art style. Anyway don’t take my word for it, here’s the Rayman Legends PS Vita trailer.
