Ubisoft and its renowned development studio Blue Byte today revealed a series of new features coming to The Settlers Online. One of these features is the “Evolvement of your Kingdom”. The Evolvement of your Kingdom is a new campaign system that will allow players to embark on a series of almost 250 new primary and secondary quests available for Level 1 to Level 50 players and get to know new NPCs.
Odile Limpach, the Managing Director of Ubisoft Blue Byte, had this to say:
“The new Evolvement of your Kingdom campaign system and guild quests have been implemented with our community in mind. We listen very closely to their ideas for improvement and never stop working hard to deliver great quality and a better gameplay experience for all our players,”
Not only that, but new Guild quests are being added along with new Guild Coins. The new in-game currency can be spent on potions (Buffs), new adventures including Pirate Island, or new specialists such as the Master Geologist. Also, as a side note, there is a change that will allow guilds to be composed of a minimum of 10 players instead of the previous 25.
The last bit of new content is the highly anticipated Player versus Player system. The PvP battles will be launching sometime in 2013 and these battles will happen on special islands where players can find precious resources to further expand their kingdom. The home island of each player will always be protected in order to avoid losing it.
