Nexon Europe has announced that they will be making an appearance at Gamescom, the largest game and interactive entertainment fair in Europe. This year, Gamescome will take place from 15th to 19th August in Cologne, Germany and will have a total of 96 gaming stations on the show floor. For those interested, Nexon will be located inside the business centre, hall 4.1, and inside the consumer centre, hall 8.
Nexon Europe’s presence is predicted to be huge. With two massively anticipated games making their debut for the very first time in Europe, Nexon will most likely deliver the hype. Shadow Company, the free-to-play FPS game, and a new, currently unannounced title will be playable to the public during the show.
The same creators that developed Combat Arms, one of the greatest free-to-play FPS games out there, is bringing a new game to the FPS genre. Shadow Company uses the Unreal Engine 3 to create stunning visuals and smooth gameplay that will surely stand out in any free-to-play FPS game. Multiplayer will be massive. Nexon Europe plans to demonstrate one of its 16 player modes, including the unique Blackmoney mode which puts four teams of four against one another. Shadow Company is scheduled to be released in early 2013 in Europe and North America.
The title for Nexon Europe’s latest title will be revealed at Gamescom. The only thing known about it so far is that it will be a Naval RTS, developed by highly skilled staff.
Sungjin Kim, Nexon’s CEO, expressed his excitement for Nexon Europe’s appearance in Gamescom. He feels that it provides an excellent chance to let gamers play their newest titles. He is confident that the two new additions to their company’s roster will take not only Nexon to the next level, but free-to-play gaming as well.
