Nintendo Downloads: Highlight for this week

New downloadable content on the Nintendo Store this week

This week is a good week for Nintendo downloads, with Super Mario Bros and Wind Waker HD. Gamer’s won’t need to worry about being bored this week.

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD – Yes, that is correct. This week, Wednesday to be precise we will receive the epic Wind Waker in all its glory, but this time it’s back in HD. Players will now be able to experience this game in full 1080p graphics and take full advantage with the Game Pad, such as managing your inventory in real time or even sending other players messages through Miiverse! If you wish to play while doing something else with your TV, I won’t judge. You can use the Game Pad to play the full game. Finally I’ll be able to play this without having my hopes shattered by hearing it’s coming to the UK two weeks after it was released in America.

Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure: Unlike the previous Scribblenauts, this one includes Batman, Superman and many other heros and villians from the Justice League! Play as Maxwell and restore order to the Justice League while battling villians in recognizable environments such as Gotham City or Atlantis!

Super Mario Bros (Virtual Console) – The first Mario game, released on the NES is soon available for your Wii U. Play through the eight worlds by jumping and using fire flowers to beat Bowser and hopefully find the princess that isn’t in another castle.

Fifa 14 on the 3DS – Fifa 14, claiming to have over 30 licensed leagues, 50 tournaments and an impressive 12,500 football players in their official kit, I never knew that many football players existed! Play the standard 11 vs 11 or 5 vs 5 in street matches in full 3D. You can re-create yourself in game and rise through the ranks with your team.

Nintendo Store sales –

Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate – If you have a Wii U and you do not own this game, now will be the perfect time to get it. It’s on sale and you can pour hundreds of hours into hunting monsters with your friends. This also goes for the 3DS version, being 50% off there hasn’t been a better time to add this to your library.

Chasing Aurora – Play against your friends or race against the clock to try and better your skills, this is an aerial action game that lets you fly. The game has stylish graphics, despite it being simple it’s extremely fun and it would be even better to get it at a cheaper price!

In addition to all of these games, there are some others listed below:

• Rage of the Gladiator (Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS)
• Solomon’s Key™ (Virtual Console on Nintendo 3DS)

I've always had a keen interest for games, mostly adventure games. I'm an extremely keen fan for Dark Souls, Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy. You couldn't go wrong with them, apart from Skyward Sword.
