EA, Nintendo, Microsoft, Game and Overclockers are amongst the first gaming companies to be confirmed for the first Gadget Show Christmas Games Zone. Gadget Show Christmas is the sister show to the Uk’s biggest tech event, Gadget Show Live. Gadget Show Christmas will take place at ExCel in London from Friday 30th November to Sunday 2nd December.
The event’s organisers have promised that the event will be an unmissable gaming and shopping experience for thousands of visitors. Gamers will be able to look at games from EA, Microsoft and Nintendo.
Visitors at the Gadget Show Christmas will be able to get their hands on the brand new Wii U console on its launch day. Gamers will be able to buy and play both the console and a variety of its 23 launch titles, which include New Super Mario Bros 2, Assassins Creed III, FIFA Soccer 13 and Batman: Arkham City: Armoured Edition.
Event director Matt Hodgins spoke about the Gadget show stating:
“With more than 150 tech companies showcasing thousands of the best gadget gifts, games and toys in the UK, Gadget Show Christmas is three days of tech heaven for all the family.” … “It’s a unique opportunity to get hands-on with the best tech around while also stocking up on all the gadgets which are setting Christmas lists alight.”
Gamers will also be able to enjoy a number of special deals on video games, consoles, accessories and pre-orders from Game. The UK’s leading games retailer will be available to visit in the Game Zone alongside Overclockers. Overclockers are the leading sales team of high end computer components, PC systems and consumer electrics throughout the UK.
The Games Zone will also host the Gaming Stage where visitors can try out the latest console and PC games, as well as competing in mass gaming sessions. The events director promises that there will be challenges for hard-core gamers and novice players alike.
