LOVEFiLM Launches on the Wii, Wii U Coming Soon.
LOVEFiLM, the Amazon based company have announced that they are now available for the Nintendo Wii console. They will also launch shortly on Nintendos first HD console the Wii U. LOVEFiLM are set to transform movie viewing experiences for up to eight million Wii users in the UK.
The launch brings the LOVEFiLM Instant service to the homes of more movie fans than ever before. LOVEFiLM enables viewers to watch unlimited movies and TV series instantly using their gaming console and Internet.
Shelly Pearce of Nintendo Uk spoke about the service stating:
“We are thrilled to be partnering with LOVEFiLM to offer Wii owners and soon Wii U owners on-demand film and TV content to enjoy. LOVEFiLM has a proven track record of success and innovation in film distribution and is a very welcome addition.”
Those who take up the LOVEFiLM service can expect a host of movies to enjoy over the Christmas period. The movies include Sherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey Jr., Inception and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Viewers can also take advantage of the services TV rota which includes Dowton Abbey and Grey’s Anatomy.
LOVEFiLM members who have a Wii console can download the application from the Wii Shop Channel for free today. Once installed, the application allows viewers to watch, search, brose and rate titles from the LOVEFiLM catalogue.
