Not Done Yet Games Kidd Tripp now out for iOS

Because sometimes you just want to see the game-over screen over and over.

Are you the sort of gamer that wants to play a modern day platformer that has that hair pulling difficulty of games from the past? If so than Not Done Yet Games first ever game Kidd Tripp might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Kidd Tripp challenges you to complete its twenty levels that take place across four different worlds.

The levels range from the platforming standard that is ice levels which of course come with slippery ice to a level that takes place inside an erupting volcano of all places.

Kidd Tripp plays a little like the Bit Trip Games would on an iOS tablet with its automatic running but like all iOS titles it has unique touchscreen controls.

The touchscreen controls themselves are simple. To jump all you have to do is touch the left side and to attack enemies you touch the right side.

In order to run faster however you will need to hold the right side of the screen. This obvious isn’t the best course of action to always take because you would be able to see what’s coming so easily but it will add to the challenge, not that it needs that however.

Along with the retro difficulty comes some very nice pixel graphics and a soundtrack that reflects the games fast paced platforming action.

As you may have guessed from a game like this, it’s designed that you’ll have to replay levels multiple times in order to complete a level but along with that there are also four different Game Center leaderboards and of course twelve achievements to go after.

If Kidd Tripp is a game that interests you than it’s available on App Stores for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch for $0.99.

Also if you’re curious about seeing the game in action first than you’re in luck because theres a trailer.
