I know what you are thinking and no, this is not a Castle Crashers sequel. Instead it is the work of Renegade Kid who have solely created this unique experience for the 3DS. It looks like a colourful treat, with colours and action being sprawled across the 3Ds screen to keep everybody happy and quite amazed that such a tiny screen can produce so much.
Planet Crashers is a playful, story-driven RPG with a colorful range of characters and a massive universe to explore.
Players take on the role of one of the youngest and brightest cadets to graduate from the esteemed Planet Crashers Academy. Your first assignment couldn’t be much bigger…destroy the unknown evil which has emerged from a dark corner of the galaxy before it snuffs out the sun for good, which could mean big trouble for everybody else
It’s now up to you to venture across the galaxy of Planet Crashers, to prevent this unimaginable catastrophe from happening. You are given a massive universe to explore, filled with danger and adventure at every corner, whilst battles in dungeons help you gain experience points so that you are able to level-up weapons, and advance to nearby planets. As well as leveling up, you have fully customizable main characters which leads to no two heroes being the same.
Planet Crahsers uses strategic turn-based combat mechanics to help aid the unique experience whilst still maintaining important RPG elements. It also gives players a single player off-line mode or the chance to enjoy the multi-player mode online with friends.
