Bundle Stars partnered with the charity Special Effect to donate proceeds from game sales of Indie Jam Bundle to disabled children and adults. The Indie Jam Bundle allows players to download various indie games with a portion of the proceeds going towards the charity. Players who purchase the Indie Jam Bundle will have access to titles such as Dead Horde, Future Wars, Greed: Black Border, Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes, Stellar Impact, Trapped Dead, Twin Sector and Unstoppable Gorg. There are two more games that are being kept a mystery but will be revealed eventually. Fingers crossed that they are Solitaire and QWOP. All of these games are compatible with Microsoft Windows. If you don’t have a Windows OS, then you’re either a snooty Mac user or a snooty Linux user. I don’t need none of that fancy, pretty stuff for my computer. I like that my Windows OS constantly updates and sends error reports, and I find the inclusion of Internet Explorer as a default browser to be tremendously helpful.
The Indie Jam Bundle will be available until February 11th and is less than £4. I don’t know how that translates into U.S. dollars, since our economy is currently on a roller-coaster of fun and, most importantly, I’m feeling too lazy to Google currency conversion rates at the moment. Let’s say it will cost you about half a goat. Goat prices are stable these days, and who doesn’t have a goat hanging around? Most importantly, the profits are going to Special Effect, which is an amazing charity. They help disabled gamers find games that enable anyone, regardless of their disability, play video games. That’s really awesome. I love that part of being a gamer. I love it when the gaming community does a really good job of being inclusive and sharing their favorite form of entertainment with other people.
