Injustice: Gods Among Us is a game I am really excited for which is released for the 19th April 2013 (Europe don’t any other release date). For those of you who don’t know Injustice is a DC fighting game. It is a one on one two dimensional fighter with a three dimensional background and character (can’t think of anything entertaining about that so here is a cracker joke, What do you get when you put three ducks in a box? A box of quackers).
In case you don’t know the developers of this game (NetherRealm Studios) made Mortal Kombat (they can’t spell I think). If the game play is at all like Mortal Kombat (I hate the word Kombat) it will be immense fun.
The Collector’s Edition comes with a box, comic book, statue, three DLC skins and a steel book. The only things worth talking about in my opinion are the comic and the statue. The statue looks amazing showing Batman and Wonder Woman in a battle to the death or possibly practising. The comic book is set before the game. It will cost £74.99, 99.99 Euros and $120.68 (that is my estimate which may be wrong). This game also has day one DLC the costumes but since it is the costumes I don’t mind, see EA that is how you do day one DLC.
They say the story is going to be new imaginative story where the lines between good and bad are blurred but if I had to guess joker is evil.
The games controls are simpler one light attack, medium attack, heavy attack and character trait. An example of a character trait is Batman’s which makes a swarm of robotic bats (sounds like a cool trait). My one problem with these kinds of superhero games is that while batman is cool one punch from someone like Superman and he is dead.
If you pre order from EB-games or GameStop you get things based around Superman Red Son which comes with twenty additional missions. If this is true that isn’t ok, giving people day one DLC which should be in the game.
