Team Plasma Cards Debut in Pokemon TCG:Black & White: Plasma Storm Expansion
Nintendo have unveiled the latest expansion for the Pokemon Trading Card Game. The expansion pack is called Plasma Storm and is set to release on the 6th of February.
The Plasma Storm trading cards will feature a ‘striking’ blue border and blue tints in the card chrome. Team Plasmas shield will also feature on the Plasma Storm expansions. Some of the cards included in the expansion packs include Cobalion, Lugia and Victini.
The Pokemon Trading Card Game: Black & White Plasma Storm packs feature more than 130 cards including three never before seen Ace Spec cards to help players win their battles.
The key features of the new Pokémon TCG: Black & White: Plasma Storm expansion packs include:
- Brand-new Team Plasma cards.
- 14 Trainer cards, including three powerful, never-before-seen Ace Spec card.
- Eight more Pokémon EX cards and four full-art Pokemon rare Ultra cards.
- More than 130 cards in total.
Each new Pokemon TCG: Black & White Plasma Storm deck and booster pack will also include an in pack code card. The in pack code will unlock virtual cards from Black & White: Plasma Storm that can be used in the Pokemon Trading Card Online game. Nintendo have also announced that three new tins of EX trading cards are set for release next year. The tins feature the three legendary Pokemon featured in Pokémon Movie 15: Kyurem vs. The Sword of Justice. In these tins gamers will find one of three powerful foil pokemon cards. These cards are Black Kyruem, White Kyruem and Keldeo. The EX tins will also include a card featuring Meloetta the legendary singing pokemon. The three legendary tin sets will be released on March 6th 2013.
