Positron is said to be capable of rendering the full visual details that are present in the Xbox 360 version of Positron.
In Positron players will race their way through a number of unique and varied digital landscapes in the quickly paced racing puzzle game. Positron features more than 50 levels . The game features 3 unique game modes meaning that players will face plenty of challenges to play and beat. These game modes are Arena, Maze and Race mode.
Arena Mode is based on classic arcade games and players will have to battle against enemy vehicles that are trying to destroy them by forcing the player to crash in to their trails or in to the arena’s walls.
In maze mode, players will attempt to reach the end of an intricate maze laid out in the arena. There will be no villains in Maze mode and a choice of three difficulty levels will be made available.
In race mode, the player will have to complete laps of a circuit laid out in the arena. They will have to avoid hitting their own repeat trails and the arena walls on subsequent laps. The goal of race mode is to complete the laps as quickly as possible.
In Positron players will be able to share their fastest times online and compare their scores on an online scoreboard.
Positron is currently set for release in late 2012
The current list of supported platforms for Positron includes: PlayStation Mobile, Xbox Live Indie Games, PC, Mac, Linux, Windows Phone 7, Android, iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry PlayBook and Facebook (Flash 11).
