The Secret World Issue 3:The Cat God gives players new missions, villains and the first seasonal tie-in of the modern day MMO.
Continuing with their ambitious post-launch update schedule, Funcom are announcing a new batch of content in their third update to their modern world MMO The Secret World.
"The Cat God" will bring with it a new storyline, a brand new villain and a tie-in with their first seasonal event in the form of Halloween.
If all that questing doesn't take your fancy, there are also plenty of tricks, treats, outfits and pets to collect as part of the Halloween event, set to take part from the end of October through to the first week in November, giving players a chance to experience everything and get some cool gear to boot.
If the end of October seems to far away and you cqan not wait to get stuck in, Funcom have prepared some content to keep you busy.
First of all "The Binding" which takes place in Egypt is for the more puzzle loving quester. This tasks the player with some truly difficult puzzles to uncover more about the "Seven Sentinels"
However, not everyone is a puzzle solver at heart, and those that would prefer to take a more hands-on approach can also look forward to some new content.
"Dogs of War" is a new action mission in the Carpathian Fangs which plays on the mounting tension between the werewolves and the vampires. Incite all-out war between the two and take advantage of the ensuing chaos to defeat the enemy commanders.
Finally a full set of Lair missions are being added to The Secret World, so you can gather those last few pieces for your patterns easier.
