End of Nations Russian Localization and Closed Beta

End of Nations Russian Localization and Closed Beta

Trion Worlds announced that End of Nations will be localized in Russian. This is a wonderful day for any Russian fans of End of Nations, of which apparently there are many: “The tremendous interest we have seen from the Russian End of Nations community during Beta testing has demonstrated that there’s a huge passion for massive scale military strategy gaming in Eastern Europe,” said David Luehmann, Executive Producer for End of Nations. “We believe our decision to localize the game into Russian shows our commitment to strengthening the global community for End of Nations and making it as accessible to as many players as possible.” I’m glad they’re giving fans of the game something they want, although making fans wait for you to localize a game will really only encourage piracy. If you don’t give people the ability to purchase your product, don’t be surprised if they pirate it instead. I’m happy to see that won’t be the case here.

In addition to localizing the game, the End of Nations closed beta will begin at 8:00AM PDT on October 4th, and end at 9:00PM PDT on October 7th. This will be the fourth and final closed beta for End of Nations.

Trion Worlds is removing the NDA from this beta, so players can share their experiences (meaning players can do marketing work for Trion Worlds for free). All players who partake in the closed beta will be given 500 in-game credits to use in End of Nations when it launches. I would prefer 500 actual dollars, but you can’t always get what you want. But I know that when you try sometimes, you get what you need. Or digital currency. Sometimes you get that. If you want access to the beta event you can sign up here. If not, I don’t really have a link for that. Just kidding, I totally do.
