Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain trailer was shown off to initiate E3. The trailer showed us ambiguous story elements, new gameplay features and a collection of characters in the title.
Although the plot was not clearly identified, it seems MGSV: Phantom Pain will be relating to how a money-hungry desire can lead to men losing themselves, devolving into demonic mindsets. This is shown with the man exchanging diamonds with prisoners, all of which are locked into a cell. The open-world environment I’m sure will provide us a meaty campaign, dealing with conflicted inhuman situations that I’m hoping will push our conscience as the player.
The brief trailer boasted a feature of next-gen visual and gameplay improvements. The features shown:
– Open-world setting
– Various methods of accessible transportation (Jeep, horse, tank)
– Real-time weather/lighting effects
– Multitude of playstyle options and enhancements, allowing a much broader approach to situations
– Dynamic close-quarter combat

A lot is left to be desired in the new Metal Gear title, and until it’s released this year speculation is encouraged! Write what you think below!
